Keeping warm during the winter and managing to look stylish can sometimes be a difficult task. For centuries of years people have used sheepskin to keep warm during this season, and sheepskin makes are finally catching with the style of the times. I'm going to cover a bunch of the new fashion styles you can now get in premium sheepskin for a reasonable price.
Everyone is familiar with the Uggs brand who is famous for their sheepskin boots. A lot of us out west do not know that everyone calls that type of boot an Ugg, and the owners of the Uggs brand had a lot of trouble getting the copyright over here in North America. So if you look hard enough, you'll find all sorts of other brands offering fashionable boots in all shapes and sizes. The Auckland brand Ugg boot has been known to be cheaper and of better quality, especially on the bottom sole.
Sheepskin gloves have taken off because of how sheepskin breaths well, but keeps your hands nice and toasty. You can find sheepskin being paired with leather and suede that looks stylish and fits great. If you've never dipped your hand into a sheepskin glove you do not know what you're missing! I could wear mine all day if it did not make me out to look like a crazy person.
Sheepskin slippers are somehow the top selling type of slippers on the market. One of my favorite features about sheepskin slippers is that because they breathe so well, it takes much longer longer for your feet to stink up the slipper. These type of slippers also hold up much longer, just make sure not to be swindled by a pair of sheepskin slippers that cost less than $ 30 USD. Anything less is most likely not authentic and of very poor quality.
I've been seeing sheepskin embedded into a lot of leather jackets and hats as well. The breathing ability of the material keeps your body at just the right temperature, as well it keeps you looking good. The only thing to keep in mind when shopping for sheepskin products like these again is the cost. You should be very suspicious of anything that seems too cheap because a lot of companies will keep prices low by combining other cheap material with the sheepskin.
